Pro's in real world conditions:
The meter is still amazing at accurate emf measurements down to 0.1mg, and the fast response ambient air temperature readout. The flashlight works great for dark rooms. You can see roughly 15-20ft if your eye sight is good:) The antenna for the REM feature is shorter than you might expect which is nice to carry or sit anywhere. The color coded lights, and audible tones are great for strength of the REM feature. Battery life is good at almost 13hrs and still running strong.
Con's in real world conditions:
I wouldn't say it is a con, but with the MEL-REM you have to make sure you hold the meter loosely at the bottom of the unit. Otherwise the signal will detect your hand, and you will get possible false readings.
Overall I would rate this device a 10 out of 10 making it a perfect addition to any team's arsenal of investigation tools. You get your EMF levels, ambient air temperature, red flashlight, touch sensor device, the option to turn the audible sensor on/off, run the REM function separately, as well as record the highest and lowest emf readings in a room to document them.
